I am revisiting an earlier theme of repetitive and contemplative skys and landscapes following a month of walking the Camino Santiago, a Pilgrimage walk, in Spain in 2010.

The visual stimulus  is Muriwai, New Zealand, vistas I see daily from my home studio.My method is to hold a vision of my subject then I trowel and scrape acrylic paint onto  paper then tear the resulting pieces. Then I play with the torn pieces, stacking, re stacking adding, subtracting,endlessly until I am satisfied  I have created my vision.
