The Playing with Paper Series arises from a desire to recycle, reuse and not waste my beautiful  previously painted paper, my leftovers, and encompasses two different styles. A vision or an aspect of nature is held in my mind as I create a shimmering cascade of colour and movement to be read as aspects of nature. These large scale colour field works, with a lack of visual reference, are designed to engulf the viewer and engage them in the contemplation of the detail that makes the whole.
